
Board of Education
The Board of Education shall have three members. The term of office shall be for three years. One of the Board of Education shall also be on the Congregation Council. No Board member shall serve for more than two successive terms on this board. The Pastor shall be an Advisory member.The duties and responsibilities of the Board of Education shall be to provide leadership and supervision of the educational programs of the congregation. Also includes but not limited to:
- Recruit, train and support all teaching and youth volunteers.
- With the Pastor find the needed materials for the Christian Education of the Church.
- Promote and maintain the church library
- Advisory position to the Pastor in implementing special education programs. [Example: Christmas and Vacation Bible School programs.]
Mission Committee
The Mission Committee shall have three members. The term of office shall be three years. One of the members shall also be on the Congregational council. No member shall be eligible for more than two successive terms on this committee. The Pastor shall be an Advisory member. The duties and responsibilities of the Mission Committee shall be responsible for guiding the development of the congregation's servant role, promoting the benevolent outreach of the congregation and encouraging Christian service, both individually and corporately. Also includes but not limited to:
- Plan Mission Festival.
- Inform the Congregation on Mission Programs.
- Disperse the Mission fund to the Glory of Christ.
- Keep record of the Mission Fund and report to the annual meeting of the congregation and to the council as requested by the council.
- Involve the congregation in service projects.
- Think globally, act locally.
Fellowship Committee
The Fellowship committee shall have three members. The term of office is three years. One of the Fellowship committee members shall also be on the Congregational council. No committee member shall be eligible for more than two successive terms on this committee. The duties and responsibilities of the Fellowship Committee are to provide for opportunities where congregation members can get to know one another and develop relationships necessary for strong Christian community life. Also included but not limited are these:

Organize and carry out fellowship events. (picnic)

Oversee publication of a pictorial directory periodically.

Supervise the revision/development of the church brochure.

Oversee the congregation’s advertising program.

Help new members with orientation and integration into the congregation.

Oversee the Hub Groups

Oversee congregational visitation

Oversee 125 th Anniversary preparations
Property Committee
The Property Committee shall have three members. The term of office shall be three years. One of the members shall also be on the Congrevgational Coun;cil. No member shall serve more than two successive terms on this committee. The duties and responsibilities of the Property committee are to oversee the maintenance and cleaning of the buildings and property of the congregation. Also included but not limited to are these responsibilities:

To regularly inspect church property and make recommendations to the council.

To coordinate needed repair which can be done by member volunteers

To supervise the work of the custodian

To develop and maintain a list of needed items for which memorial monies
could be used

To review the space needs for existing congregational programs

To determine needs for additional or renovated space or facilities
Stewardship Committee
The Stewardship Committee shall have three members. The term of office shall be three years. One of the members shall also be on the congregational council. No member shall be eligible for more than two successive terms on this committee. The duties and responsibilities of the Stewardship committee shall be to promote Christian stewardship among the members of our congregation and to oversee the finances of the congregation. Additional specific responsibilities are:

To develop and oversee the stewardship program

To arrange for periodic temple talks on stewardship

To supervise members-only fund-raising efforts of the congregation in
accordance with sound Christian values

To encourage support for benevolence through an on-going program
of information and education
Youth Committee
The Youth Committee shall have three members. The term of office is three years. One of the members shall also be on the Congregational council. No member shall be eligible for more than two successive terms on this committee. The pastor shall be an advisory member. The duties and responsibilities of the Youth Committee shall be to provide on-going Christian nurture of the youth of the congregation. Additional responsibilities are:

To promote attendance and involvement of the youth in the life of the congregation

To help recruit leaders for the youth programs and recognize faithful service.

To encourage summer opportunities at Bible Camps

To help plan and execute the youth programs
Worship Committee
The Worship Committee shall have three members. The term of office shall be three years. One of the members shall also be on the Congregational Council. No member shall be eligible for more than two successive terms on this committee. The pastor shall be an advisory member. The duties and responsibilities of the Worship Committee shall be to provide opportunities for meaningful worship experiences, encouraging regular participation, and supervising the music program of the congregation. The responsibilities also include but are not limited to:

To help plan and arrange the worship services for the year,
including special services

To supervise the maintenance of the organ and pianos

To encourage participation in the choirs and the music program
in the worship services.

To work with the Altar Guild
